Trips
To keep in touch with our projects and to assess the future needs of groups in Sri Lanka we arrange a couple of visits a year. Below you can see information about our past and planned trips and see photos of the places we visit.
| TRIP 2009 A Team of 10 people are hoping to visit OST projects in Sri Lanka this October 2009. Plans are well underway for activities to do with each playgroup that we spend a morning working with. The team are busy fund raising for money to take to spend on projects on the ground whilst out in Sri Lanka. The Team have so far raised over £4000. We are looking forward to assessing the situation on the ground following the end of the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. | ||
| TRIP 2008 Ocean Stars Trust took a team of 9 to visit the projects in Sri Lanka in October 2008. During the trip we visited Vavuniya, Trincomalee and Batticaloa where the Ocean Stars Projects are based. The children at the playgroups we work with were delighted to welcome us as they seldom have visitors. We were warmly welcomed where ever we went. | ||
